Recycling Dinosaurs:

Worn Art 2020 stars lots of little dinosaurs

Dinosaur Coast kids have been busy building dinosaur puppets for this year’s Worn Art production.

In September Puppet Artisan, Karen Hethey held six (6) puppet building workshops at the Broome Public Library.

There is a strong recycling message in the puppet design and creation with a not too subtle reminder that plastic is made from fossil fuels created from the forests and environment of the Cretaceous Period. This was also the time when ‘our’ dinosaurs were walking along the Broome coastline.

The plastic we use is made from fossil fuels created from the forests and environment of the Cretaceous Period.

Thanks also to Leon Teoh for telling the Dinosaur Coast story and for his help with the dinosaur (milk carton) creations and a very big thanks to Theater Kimberley for working with us to make this happen.
