The Dinosaur Coast Management Group is delighted to share the news that we have received $3,355 from the Water Corporation and Lions Club Broome Kimberley Community Grant Scheme (Round 12) to support the installation in 2027 of a striking new mural in our Dinosaur Coast Interpretive Display at the Broome Museum.
Created by a local artist, the mural will reimagine the landscape of 130 million years ago, bringing to life the four dinosaur species whose tracks remain etched along the Broome coastline. Designed to spark curiosity, the artwork will sit alongside a series of hands-on activities aimed at inspiring younger visitors to engage with our remarkable Cretaceous history.
We sincerely thank the Water Corporation and Lions Club Broome for their support through this valuable community grant scheme, which continues to make a real difference for local organisations across the Kimberley.
